Google Cloud AppSheet review: No-code with extras - InfoWorld

Image
Google Cloud AppSheet is a no-code, intent-driven app development platform. Its web-based design environment runs in the Google Cloud, and it generates apps for web, iOS, and Android. Even though it is billed as no-code, AppSheet supports spreadsheet formulas, filter expressions, and bots defined with expressions and diagrams, giving it much of the functionality of low-code app builders. Google Cloud AppSheet allows you to automate business processes such as order approvals and user notifications, and automatically build actions and views based on user intent with Google Cloud AI and ML. You can use AppSheet to build one app for use on desktop, mobile, and tablet. And you can connect to a variety of data sources, as well as add data such as GPS locations, pictures, drawings, barcode scanning, and character recognition from end-user devices. Google doesn't pretend that "citizen developers" can build apps in a vacuum. Instead, they say that IT and citizen developers can eff

Everything You Need to Know About SEO Checker and Content Optimization Tools - Business 2 Community

Image
You might have heard about SEO checker and SEO content optimization, but do you know their uses, benefits, and differences? If not, then let's take a deeper look at both of them. Online businesses are striving to get their best impacts on the Google search engines. Content is the key, and to be able to create good content and reach your target audience, businesses need an aid that is an expert. While content creation is essential for every business today, aligning and optimizing the content to reach the right audience is equally crucial. SEO checker aids in creating the right impact. What is an SEO Checker? SEO stands for "Search Engine Optimization." It's a sure-fire way to optimize your web pages and rank them high in the SERPs. Local Rank Tracking: How To Track Your Google Maps Rank - Forbes

Image
Photo: Getty Local SEO is all about knowing where you stand. More specifically, it's about knowing where you stand in terms of your ranking on Google Maps. This is because the Google Local Pack — the box on top of Google's homepage featuring the three local businesses that it has determined to be close (geographically), the most relevant and the most prominent in regard to a search query — is fed by Google Maps. Google Maps, in turn, is fueled by information contained within a location's Google My Business (GMB) profile. Thus, a fully optimized GMB profile is always a good place to start when discussing local search engine results pages (SERPs). What do I mean by that? At minimum, the name, address, phone number and website (NAPW) data from your GMB profile is directly supplied to Google Maps. Consistent citations, or mentions, of this information elsewhere online bolsters the trustworthiness and authority of your business

25 Free SEO Tools to Enhance Your Website + Grow Your Brand - Business 2 Community

Want to achieve better SEO results for the lowest possible cost? SEO tools track the health of your website. They give you actionable data to make it more successful by identifying opportunities and weaknesses that could prevent you from ranking high in SERPs (search engine results pages). Why SERPs are fundamental for SEO When most people search, they click organic results on the first page of the SERPs and seldom visit page two. This is why it's critical to rank on the first page of Google — if your site appears on page two or beyond, you're practically invisible. The top 3 Google search results get 75.1% of all clicks 1. Google Pagespeed Insights Google Pagespeed Insights checks the speed and usability of your site on multiple devices. Enter a URL, and the tool will test the loading time and performance for desktop and mobile and identify opportunities to improve. The mobile results also come with a user experience (UX) score, grading areas such as top targets and font sizes

Google Search Console rolls out new design - Search Engine Land

Image
Google has rolled out a new look for Google Search Console aimed at improving accessibility and user experience. If you login to your Google Search Console account at google.com/search-console you will see the new design. What it looks like. Here is a screenshot of the new design: Why a new design. Google said this design upgrade is aimed at its efforts to improve accessibility and user experience. "We're starting a journey to refresh the look and feel of Search Console," Google wrote on Twitter, "Over the next few months you'll see small changes in the product with a goal to improve accessibility and user experience in general. We hope you like it!" Why we care. Search Console is a tool many SEOs use multiple times per day. The new design seems fresh and clean but the functionality, thus far, as far as I can tell, has not changed. Play around with the new design — we hope you like the updated interface.

Google Search Console overcounted mobile page experience data since June 29th - Search Engine Land

Image
For the last four months, Google has been miscounting the mobile page experience data in the Google Search Console reports. This impacted both the performance report and the page experience report in Google Search Console. The issue persisted from June 29th through November 1st – yes, for over four months. What Google said. Google posted this notice in the data anomalies page saying "June 29 – November 1: Search Console was overcounting mobile Page Experience data during this period. On November 1 you should see a return to correct data." This was posted both under the page experience report and the performance reports sections, which means both those reports were impacted. Annotation added. Google added an annotation to the reports showing that on November 1st, Google resolved the issue. You can see the little 1 circle at the right side of this chart documenting the issue. More details requested. I did ask Google for more details on how this

Introduce Automation to the Marketing Flow With Google Apps Scripts - CMSWire

Image
PHOTO: oliviaelisa92 Automation is a holy grail in marketing. But with so many automation methods available, it can be overwhelming for marketers to identify where to get started. One place for marketers to experiment is with apps scripts, a JavaScript based set of instructions similar to JSON in data. Apps scripts are typically used with digital ads, so you can imagine the two platforms that use them: Bing and — you guessed it — Google.  Google Apps Scripts offer a way to automate data movement between Google properties, allowing marketers to automate repetitive tasks. Google first introduced Apps Script in 2009 and in the years since, developers have created a number of scripts. So while marketers will need an appreciation of JavaScript, making modifications to a script to link to specific features in the Google properties are not as extensive as in app or website development. Many of these scripts link to Google Sheets, but there are o

How to Decrease Your Website Bounce Rate - Business 2 Community

Image
So are you upset about your high website bounce rate? A high bounce rate is a matter of concern for most website owners who have just started out. But if you can figure out the reason why your visitors are leaving your site so quickly, it can be a lot easier for you to fix the problem. Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors who land on your website and decide to leave it without visiting another page. If you have a higher bounce rate, it means that your visitors didn't find your site good enough to stay for any longer. So they exit it by clicking on another URL, closing the tab or window, or by clicking on the back button. This can harm your SEO by sending a signal to Google that your site is not good enough to rank on search results. If you don't want that to happen, you need to start working on reducing your bounce rate right away. According to sources, anything above 80% is considered to be a bad rate. Anything between 30-50% is considered an excellent rate. But how do yo
